2nd step: Gradual building of a whole group contract on which the procedure will be based in order to reach an effective and successful end product. Common goals,expectations, perspectives, rules to be followed and consequences in case these are broken are explored and defined.The main idea is to help students realize the significance of the process and be convinced to engage actively in it.The whole procedure is conducted in groups, is scaffold and gradual and aims at familiarizing students with the notions of co-operation, accountability, mutual respect and conflict resolution.The teacher discusses with students and clarifies all different aspects of his contribution to the project (facilitator, monitor,trainer, partner).

3rd step:Division of the students in groups of four. The division is made after several exploratory activities such as filling in set forms and questionnaires concerning their interests,preferences and general profile,conducting pair and small group role plays, playing games and more. Efforts have been made to create diverse groups with low, moderate and high ability students of different cognitive and social backgrounds.Roles are assigned to different group members(facilitator, recorder, presenter, time- keeper). The groups are reshaped after a two- week period to ensure that communication,wide spread interaction and creation of strong bonds among all members of the groups will be facilitated.

4th step:Sub- topics are discussed and defined. Groups are called on to choose a topic of their preference and work on it, each one of them taking the responsibility to work collaboratively on the different tasks and assignments related to it.

5th step: Relevant resources,tools and materials are overviewed and options are explored regarding usefulness, availability, needs. The list will be overviewed, discussed, enriched and/or changed in later stages.

6th step: Activities are introduced, discussed and evaluated by all different contributors. Feedback is provided by both the students and the teacher.
7th step: On a weekly basis, groups' search findings and assigned products are presented, overviewed and assessed . In addition, individual self-assessment logs and group evaluation forms are completed and handed in.
